I've taught myself stupid basics about machines but only discovered the command prompt a few days ago. To me ,its like someone scrambled a hundred words and I have to put them back in order. Thats how close I am. I'm there but not. Pasting code and what not. I'm trying to learn how to do something.There are a couple of wireless networks that show connected on my laptop. I learned a bit by using netstat.There is a 169... local and no dns. I think the 169 address isn't really real. Why do I get "connected", but no ping status. no internet thanks for the article.
