		<description>Yeah, I was looking over the costs and material for the GSEC. I&#039;m not one of those guys who wants to pass a test without true understanding of the material, and I think that&#039;s a lot of material to try to cover on my own. And doing that still costs $800 for the challenge exam. I&#039;d rather do the self-study or on-site work, but that&#039;s up will over $2000. I find it tough to focus there while the CCNA is available for roughly $200 (including books) and CISSP for something like $400. 
 
I&#039;m thinking I&#039;ll keep plugging at the CCNA first, and then CISSP as summer approaches. I&#039;ve been slowly studying for CISSP for about 6-8 months now, so I think I&#039;ve had good time to let a lot of that absorb in. </description>
